Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind (CSDB) Golf Team

Pikes Peak Golf Links conducts an annual golf program for hearing and vision impaired students.  Swing fundamentals, course etiquette and basic golf rules are taught. CSDB staff transports students to Cherokee Ridge Golf Course and assists with translation.  

Monument Hill Kiwanis volunteers help with instruction and have been essential to the program's ability to continue after the closing of the USGA's Grants and Fellowship Program which initiated the CSDB Golf Team in 1997.  

Pikes Peak Golf Links has continued to run the program which remains the only golf program offered to students at the CSDB.
